Context
Rutlandia needed a foundation that could hold reflective notes, workshop records, and project artifacts without becoming a corporate portfolio or a social platform.
What I Was Trying
The goal was to keep the site static, durable, and easy to revise while making room for a stronger outpost identity.
What Happened
The old static files were preserved as legacy material, and the new site started from a publishing-first Astro structure.
Decisions Made
The foundation uses Markdown content collections, Astro pages, Tailwind styling, and internal icon mapping.
Open Questions
The final hero image, long-term archive treatment, and future Discord placement still need deliberate choices.
Status
Stable for now.
